During its General Assembly, delayed since 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Society of the Priests of Saint Sulpice has elected, Very Rev. Shayne CRAIG, PSS, as Superior General of the Society of the Priests of Saint Sulpice on July, 11, 2022.

Father Craig, 57 years old and a Canadian, was ordained in 1992 for the Diocese of Victoria in Canada and was admitted to the Society in 1999.

Then, the General Assembly of the Priests of Saint Sulpice, in accordance with the Constitutions, were elected General Consultors and accepted this ministry the following :

2. Mr. Paul MAILLET, PSS, 2^nd Consultor, from the United States of America
3. Mr. Argiro RESTREPO, PSS, 3^rd Consultor, from Colombia
4. Mr. Justin AGOSSOUKPEVI, PSS, 4^th Consultor, from Benin
