Published for 125th Anniversary

The Pontifical Canadian College in Rome, which is operated by the Canadian Province of Sulpicians, has just published a new history of the College as part of the celebration for its 125th anniversary. It is titled The Pontifical Canadian College: An Enduring Tradition, 125 Years of History (Vatican Press, 2014).

Written in English by Doctor John ZUCCHI, Professor in the Department of History and Classical Studies at McGill University in Montreal (Quebec), this 170-page book, which includes many illustrations and photographs from the College’s history, is beautifully rendered by the Vatican Press. It concludes with twenty pages of color photographs from the recent year-long celebrations, as well as more historic photos. A French edition will appear in a few months.

The Society of the Priests of Saint Sulpice congratulates and thanks Professor Zucchi for this outstanding history. Our gratitude likewise extends to the present Rector of the Pontifical Canadian College, Father Eric SYLVESTRE, pss, who has guided all the activities of the anniversary.
