Very Rev. Shayne CRAIG, PSS

During its General Assembly, delayed since 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic and which currently is taking place at Issy-les-Moulineaux, the Society of the Priests of Saint Sulpice has elected, Very Rev. Shayne CRAIG, PSS, as Superior General of the Society of the Priests of Saint Sulpice. Father Craig, 57 years old and a Canadian, was ordained in 1992 for the Diocese of Victoria in Canada and was admitted to the Society in 1999.

He succeeds Father Ronald D. WITHERUP, PSS, an American, who has served in the post since 2008.

Only July 11, 2022, during the seventh session of the General Assembly of the Priests of Saint Sulpice, in accordance with the Constitutions, the following were elected General Consultors and accepted this ministry :

2. Mr. Paul MAILLET, PSS, 2^nd Consultor, from the United States of America
3. Mr. Argiro RESTREPO, PSS, 3^rd Consultor, from Colombia
4. Mr. Justin AGOSSOUKPEVI, PSS, 4^th Consultor, from Benin
