Two notices

Recent weeks have seen two important developments for the Society of the Priests of Saint-Sulpice. First, a member of the French Province, has been named to a post in Rome at the Congregation for Evangelization of Peoples. Father Guy BOGNON, PSS, Rector of the Major Seminary of Philosophy in Djimé, Benin, has been named an official at the Pontifical Missionary Works, which is directed by the Propaganda Fide. He will oversee certain areas pertaining to seminaries in different countries. Father Bognon will also remain a member of the Provincial Council of the French Province.

A second news item is the appearance of the latest Bulletin de Saint-Sulpice (No. 37-38), which is devoted to the theme of “The Spiritual Life of the Diocesan Priest.” The BSS is an annual publication of the Society of Saint-Sulpice devoted to issues concerning priesthood and priestly formation. Although it has experienced serious delays in publication in recent years, the BSS remains a unique publication at the service of formators and seminaries.
