On Monday, April 8, 2024, Bishop Jean-Marc Micas, Bishop of Tarbes and Lourdes and former Superior of the Province of France, inaugurated the Maison Saint-Sulpice located at 6 rue du Regard in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.
The Maison Saint-Sulpice is today the seat of the General Government of the Company and the Province of France. It had reached the canonical age of 109 when work began in 2018, with a view to bringing its buildings to full and structural standards.
This achievement allows today the Society of Priests of Saint Sulpice, to continue to receive the passing bishops in Paris, priests and religious sent by their leaders, continue studies in the Universities of the Capital. It also welcomes researchers and academics who come to explore the rich and precious collections of the Saint-Sulpice Archives and the Jean-Jacques Olier Library.
